4 of us came in October on a last minute trip. We really didn’t know what to expect but the lake exceeded our expectations. The lake is beautiful and ive got to say the swims are the best swims weve had in 23 years of French trips.The lake is a difficult water as in the carp are constantly moving and feeding off different spots but we loved this as it was a challenge. We had some 40s and late 30s so we were all very happy. Antony the owner was absolutely 1st class, we bought food for a full English and he happily cooked it for us and the evening meal was delicious. Antony was there a lot but never bothered us and let us get on with it, in all a great trip and we will definitely be back. we are still talking about it now!!
