What a fantastic weeks fishing at Archipelago Lake. Although the weather was extremely hot for the first 4 or 5 days we steadily caught fish throughout the days and nights totalling 20 carp between the 2 fishermen. 2 x 50lb up to 53lb,12oz plenty of 40lbers and 30lbers and a handful of very nice 20lbers.
All of the fish we caught were immaculate and we had some great fights, especially with the larger commons. Andy has tagged the majority of the fish so the individual names and weights can be logged.
The fishery is absolutely immaculate and very picturesque and tranquil. Andy’s attention to detail and knowledge is second to none.
All of the facilities at the fishery including the anglers lodge, toilets and showers and dining areas were spotlessly clean.
Both Ellen and Andy were very welcoming and professional and made our experience even more enjoyable.
We have fished in France on many occasions but we can truly say that Archipelago Lake is best venue that we have ever fished and we cannot wait to return.
