Close to Dournazac in the Haute-Vienne, this nature-lover’s retreat covers around 18.5 acres of meadow, wild orchid fields and oak woodland, with two private lakes of about 2 acres and 0.3 acres.
Both lakes hold wild Limousin carp, along with black bass, roach and rudd, and offer peaceful fishing in an unspoilt setting.
A two-bedroom mobile home with decking and a wood-burning stove gives a cosy base on site. Mains electricity and water are connected, and there is a septic tank.
The land is classed as Zone Naturelle, so new building is not permitted. The village of Châlus, with all everyday amenities, is about 5km away.
