Domaine La Baronne is just over 3 hours drive from Calais, situated south of Paris. This mature tree lined 17 acre lake holds approximately 500 beautiful dark carp over 60lbs, with at least 40 over 40lbs and an average size of over 30lbs. The lake can be fished my a maximum of 8 anglers.

It is not a difficult lake with most anglers catching 30 plus fish in a week. The lake record number of carp landed for a week in 2022 is 67!

The lake is available for exclusive bookings or per swim.

There are 4 double swims spread around the lake – within the images there is an aerial view of the lake which shows the swims. All swims have ample room for 2 anglers and are flat with wood chip covering the ground and include a picnic table.

There is a VIP swim which is located on the island. This swim includes your own private  wooden chalet. The chalet includes 2 beds and a kitchen area with a sink and fridge. Access to the island is by boat which is provided free of charge by the lake owner.

There ‘reserve’ area of the lake can be fished but anglers will require a rowing boat due to the close proximity of the island.

A short walk from the lake are hot showers and toilets.

The lake is well stocked with approximately 500 carp. It is estimated that at least 40 carp over 40lbs with the largest a massive 63lb mirror! Around 150 carp are between 30 and 40lbs with about 300 carp between 26lbs and 30lbs.

The depths of Domaine de la Baronne range from 3 feet in the shallowest areas to 20 feet in the deepest parts. Zodiac boats are available to hire at a very reasonable rate. The boats are ideal for locating spots and baiting up.

The lake owner will go to the supermarket for customers twice a week to enable you to maximise time at the lake should you wish.

Bookings are Saturday to Saturday

The lake can be booked exclusively or per swim.
