Located just 2 and half hours from Calais is Noah’s lake at Lac Soupir. Noah’s lake is mature 6 acre lake surrounded by mature trees and shrubs and with an abundance of wildlife. There are 4 swims one of which is a double swim. The lake can be booked exclusively for a maximum of 4 angers.
This very special lake lake dates back to the 1960s and was acquired by the current owners in 2018. Prior to the lake being acquired by the current owners the lake had only been fished by a few anglers in the last 48 years. The majority of the fish in the lake are original dating back to the 1980s and in pristine condition, ranging from dark mirror to golden commons. There are approximately 100 carp with the current lake record currently over 50lbs. The lake has not been netted and many of the fish, including some larger than the lake record which have been spotted from the boat, have yet to be caught. The added air of mystery with the lake is very rare today and makes it an incredibly special place to fish.
Noah’s lake is not a runs water by any means. It is suited to experienced anglers, in search of old pristine carp in a wild and natural environment.
The lake is packed full of features including lilly pads, weeds, overhanging trees, gravel humps and silt. For the roaming angler, it is ideal for some day time stalking action to set the pulse racing!
There is a private lakeside chalet which sleeps up to 4 and offers amazing views over the lake.
