Grand Felin River Vienne Bed and Breakfast

The river Vienne is famous for producing big carp and catfish. Grand Felin is a very unique and exciting venue and offers anglers an exclusive 700m stretch of river with accommodation.
The Riverside Room is a tastefully decorated bed and breakfast en suite room within a traditional French gite which is set back just metres from the river. These comfy and tastefully decorated rooms are ideal for anglers as well as non angling partners and guests.
In the stretch of the river Vienne, carp have been caught to excess of 50lbs in this stretch of the river Vienne and catfish to a massive 2.5 metres in length! The takes are absolutely electrifying and the battles immense. A boat is available for use to drop rigs and land fish if required.
As there are no cooking facilities an optional food package is available which can be tailored to your requirements and can be just breakfast or lunch and dinner as well or a combination giving you the flexibility to try some great restaurants and cafes which are nearby.
Bookings are Saturday to Saturday
Nets, mats and weight slings are provided
Boilies, particles and pellets can be purchased on site.
You can bring your own boilies, however they must be frozen or fresh. Particles must be purchased on site.
Breakfast is included in the price and an optional lunch and/ or dinner package is available
- Fishing Permit necessary (34 euros for the week or 14 euros a day Buy at local shop)
- Anyone under 18 must wear a life jacket when in a boat
- If needed bring your own electric outboard motor only oars are supplied with boat
- Fishing on the river is from sunrise to sunset
- Bring your own life jacket
- Landing nets/ unhooking mats/ weight slings are not provided for the river
- A £200 cash deposit is required upon arrival, which will be fully refunded if there is no property damage
