For the penultimate week of the season, BelleVue luxury lodge and three-acre lake hosted regular guests, Kathy and Roger. Autumn is well established, along with some chilly evenings and frosty mornings. The drop in temperatures caused the fishing to slow, however Roger still managed a number of fantastically conditioned fish, looking splendid in their autumnal colours, including six mid to upper 30’s and two 40’s.
The hot tub/luxury spa and wood burner in the lodge were put to good use and allowed them to refresh and keep warm as they kicked back, relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Here is what Roger had to say.
“Biggest fish of the week 41 lb 8 oz. Had six thirty’s, two forties, plus the sturgeon and some smaller carp. Had a great week, time to go, can’t wait to be back here next year, HAPPY Days”.
The winter feed program is now underway on the mainlake and will be extended to BelleVue Lake after our last visitors next week. The supplemental feed has been specifically developed to ensure the fish are getting all of the essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients to help them through the winter months keeping them in tip-top condition.
